Suffering: the soil of your Life's Garden

Suffering is a part of human life, a part of our spiritual growth, and comes in many forms. You may feel it is your destiny or fate to suffer, and that you have little control over it, but this is not the truth. You have the greatest Power of the Universe within you, within every atom, molecule and cell of you - the loving power of the God Spirit. Claim the power and love that resides within you and your eternal spirit. Right now, today, choose to use your free will to suffer less and live your life more fully in joy, by employing right thoughts, words and actions.

God does not bring suffering to you, but will provide the inner strength and clarity to overcome it, or help you bear it till you choose to see it differently - a lesson of Life - and move past it, or make peace with it. Suffering, and the overcoming of it, can be seen as the "soil" of your Life's Garden. You will enrich the "soil" at every opportunity, as you begin to realize your True Self. Use the ancient tools of meditation, prayer, self-inquiry and contemplation to become clear and mindful of your thoughts, choices and decision-making. As you awaken little by little, you will more carefully choose your Seeds of Life, and lovingly sow them. Then, watch as the conditions change in your life, and the Seeds take root, growing, in time, into the Perfect Flowers. Watch your Self and your life grow into beauty, slowly, but surely, just as the seeds you sow in Earthly soil. You have the power to grow and create with the Creator!

Continue with your spiritual work and evolution each day, striving to be the best human being possible. Focus upon God and the goodness all around you and within you. Be patient, tolerant, kind, merciful and loving to your Self and others. Ask the Great Gardener of the Universe to help you prepare the soil of your Inner Self, and fertilize, nurture and water the Seeds you sow. Tend your Life's Garden, pull the "weeds" regularly, and let Nature take her course!
